Employment Opportunity – Director of Finance The Town is recruiting a Director of Finance who will be responsible for the financial management of the Town and Berwick Electric. The Town is at the forefront of climate mitigation and has installed over a dozen electric vehicle chargers, owns hydro/wind electricity generation assets and has broken ground on a 22-acre community solar panel project.The Director is a key member of the Town’s management team and provides strategic leadership in finance, administration, risk management and human resource support. The Director is required to think and act strategically in a political and community-service environment. As the ideal candidate you thrive in a fast paced, dynamic operation and welcome challenges and opportunities to contribute to the overall success of an organization. Reporting directly to the Chief Administrative Officer, you are highly motivated with exceptional communication, information technology and financial management skills. You have a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation or a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Business Administration with five years of related municipal government experience.
