Skilled Labourer

The Town is recruiting a Skilled Labourer who will be responsible for maintenance and capital improvements to all Town infrastructure including parks, streets, sidewalks, buildings and wastewater infrastructure.

Reporting through the Lead Hand to the Director of Public Works a High School diploma or equivalent is required, as well as a valid Class 5 Driver’s License, though a Class 3 Driver's License with air brake endorsement would be an asset and an ability and interest in completing any required training. A criminal record check will be required from the successful candidate.

Following a successful probationary period, this position will be eligible for benefits and join CUPE Local 2618-03.
