WINTER PARKING REGULATIONS
Effective December 1, 2025
Regulations made by the Traffic Authority for The Town of Berwick Pursuant to Section 202(2)
of the Motor Vehicle Act, R.S.N.S., 1989 Chapter 293
The Winter Parking Regulations will be in effect from December 1, 2025 to April 15, 2026 on all streets and highways within the Town of Berwick.
During this period, parking of vehicles on the streets or highway within the Town of Berwick is prohibited between the hours of 1:00 AM and 7:00 AM and during the period from one hour after any snow storm has started to two hours after the storm has stopped.
Physicians, fire and police officials are exempt from these Regulations while carrying out their professional responsibilities; as well as commercial vehicle operators for the purposes of loading and unloading.
Vehicles in violation of these Regulations may be towed at the owners expense.

Street Light Outages
Residents who have a street light outage issue arise are asked to please bring the issue to town hall and create a work order, or call 902-538-8068. A member of the Public Works or Berwick Electric Commission will tend to the issue as soon as possible based on the work order ticket priority

Tax Sale
If you are a taxpayer in the Town of Berwick and your tax is two or more years in arrears, your property could be sold at tax sale.
There is no scheduled tax sale at this time.
