Welcome to the Berwick Electric Commission (BEC)

We’re proud to provide safe, reliable, and locally managed electric service to the Town of Berwick and surrounding areas. Below you’ll find helpful links, forms, and contact information to help you manage your account, request inspections, and learn more about your community-owned utility.

    Details all payment options – online banking, e-Transfer, in-person, or by mail.
  • New Customer Service Contract
    For residents or businesses applying for new service. Includes deposit requirements and billing responsibilities.
  • Wiring Permits & Applications
    Outlines how to apply for wiring permits or electrical inspections for new work, upgrades, or solar installations.
  • Inspection Request Form
    Submit a request for an electrical inspection within the BEC service area. Our inspector will contact you to schedule a visit.

    Download the current approved electric rates, rules, and regulations (Board Order M11199).
  • Berwick Electric Stop Service Request                                                                                                                                                                                      For customers who are moving out of the Berwick area and no longer require service with Berwick Electric. 
  • Transfer your Berwick Electric Service to another address                                                                                                                                                        (Address must be within the Town of Berwick service area). 
  • Update Your Account Information                                                                                                                                                                                               For customers who have had a change of name, email address, phone number, or mailing address.

How to Pay Your Bill or Security Deposit

We want paying your bill to be quick and convenient. Choose the method that works best for you – online, by e-Transfer, or in person at Town Hall.
