2025/26 Budget
How did we get here?
Berwick initiated the 2025-26 budget process in December 2024, reviewing preliminary budget data and collaborating with all departments to gain a clear understanding of operational needs and requirements.
Every Council and Committee of the Whole meeting from January 15 to March 25 allows Council to discuss, seek clarification, and provide direction to staff to move the operating and capital budgets forward for approval.
At the Special Council Meeting on Tuesday, March 25th, Town Council approved the 2025-26 Operating Budget & 5-Year Capital Investment Plan.
The 2025-26 Budget Process and Timeline is outlined below:

- February 3, 2025 - Special Budget Discussion Meeting

- February 27, 2025 - Public Information Session
- March 11, 2025 - Feedback from Information Session & Survey
- March 25, 2025 - Approval of Operating and Capital Budgets
