Our Red Chair Challenge IS returning for 2021 - this is our FIFTH Anniversary.

For those of you who are new here, our red chair challenge is a community event where we invite everyone, businesses and households alike, to place a red chair in front of their home. We consider this a way of showing others that we are a warm, welcoming community... we are inviting you to "take a seat" and feel welcome here in the Town of Berwick. We like to add a little competition to the mix, by judging for the most creative displays and awarding some fun prizes!

This year, we ask that chairs be placed outdoors by July 1st - with judging to take place the morning of July 5th. In the spirit of our fifth anniversary, and in celebration of Nova Scotia's phased reopening, we would love to see chairs and displays in place for the month of July.

There is no pre-registration required for 2021.
