The Town of Berwick is hiring! We’re looking for a detail-oriented and motivated individual to join our Finance Department as an Intermediate Finance Clerk.

Position: Intermediate Finance Clerk
Department: Finance
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Start Date: As soon as possible
Wage Range: Based on qualifications and experience
Location: Berwick Town Hall
Key Responsibilities:

Processing accounts payable and receivable
-
Preparing bank deposits and reconciliations

Assisting with budget preparation and financial reporting
-
Providing customer service to residents and vendors
-
Supporting the overall financial operations of the Town
Qualifications:
-
Post-secondary education in accounting or finance
-
2+ years of experience in a finance or accounting role (municipal experience an asset)
-
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
-
Excellent communication and time management skills
-
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
