Position: Intermediate Finance Clerk
Department: Finance
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Start Date: As soon as possible
Wage Range: Based on qualifications and experience
Location: Berwick Town Hall

Key Responsibilities:

  • Processing accounts payable and receivable

  • Preparing bank deposits and reconciliations

  • Assisting with budget preparation and financial reporting

  • Providing customer service to residents and vendors

  • Supporting the overall financial operations of the Town

Qualifications:

  • Post-secondary education in accounting or finance

  • 2+ years of experience in a finance or accounting role (municipal experience an asset)

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy

  • Excellent communication and time management skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
