Harvest Moon Trail
The 110 km Harvest Moon Trailway traverses the Annapolis Valley and the Town of Berwick is proud to manage our 2.2 km section known as the “Apple Capital Heritage Trail”.
The Trailhead, with parking, is located on Mill Street across from 120 Mill St St. Anthony’s Catholic Church.
There is a community garden located at the Mill Street Trailhead and a new interpretive panel has been added to the trailhead.
At any given time you will find a variety of modes of transportation, including walkers, joggers, cyclists, cross-country skiers, equestrians, ATVs and snowmobiles on the trail.
An access point to connect the Kings Mutual Century Centre to the Harvest Moon Trail has been opened as the Town’s newest trail. The KMCC Connector trail begins at the Kings Mutual Century Centre and is a 1km loop to the Harvest Moon Trail. Once on the trail, users can loop using the sidewalks to return to the Kings Mutual Century Centre.
Rainforth Multi-generational and Centennial Park
Cottage Street, Berwick
Located centrally on Cottage Street in Berwick, is our biggest park – Rainforth Park.
Rainforth Park is home to a softball field, a splash pad, Carol’s Place (multiuse recreation building), tennis and pickle-ball courts, a basketball net, greenspace and a playground.

Adjacent to Rainforth Park, with an entrance on Union Street, is Centennial Park which is a great green space for picnics and enjoying live music in the park! There is a gazebo and picnic tables in this part of the park.

Spicer Park
Located in the 'Spicer Park' subdivision off of Hayden Drive, Spicer Park is known as one of Berwick's hidden gems. There is parking at the Hayden Drive entrance, a community garden and a small playground. This park also has an abundance of green space and is a great place to have a quiet picnic! The park also has an entrance from Cottage Street for those using active modes of transportation.
Peter Connell Field
Peter Connell was a champion of sport in the Berwick and District area. After his passing in 2004, Berwick Minor Baseball spearheaded the re-naming of the former “Brown Street Ball Field” to be named in his honour. The majority of Berwick and Area Minor Baseball games are played at this field and it has washrooms and a canteen facility.

Chute Bike Skills Park
Chute Park is for the thrill-seekers with a mountain biking skills park and space for BMX riding. This is a year-round outdoor facility with a walking trail around the park, Picnic spaces and a maintenance station.

Town Hall
The Berwick Town Hall has a small gymnasium and a multipurpose room available for private rentals. Behind the Town Hall, there is a small field (formerly used for soccer) with the Berwick Garden Project and a beach volleyball court.

Community Use Schools
Several community organizations use Berwick and District School for sporting activities. The school also has a sizable playground as well as outdoor workout equipment and is home to one of the Community Gardens that are available to the public.
