WINTER PARKING REGULATIONS

Effective December 1, 2024

Regulations made by the Traffic Authority for The Town of Berwick Pursuant to Section 202(2)
of the Motor Vehicle Act, R.S.N.S., 1989 Chapter 293

The Winter Parking Regulations will be in effect from December 1, 2024 to April 15, 2025 on all streets and highways within the Town of Berwick.

During this period, parking of vehicles on the streets or highway within the Town of Berwick is prohibited between the hours of 1:00 AM and 7:00 AM and during the period from one hour after any snow storm has started to two hours after the storm has stopped.

Physicians, fire and police officials are exempt from these Regulations while carrying out their professional responsibilities; and commercial vehicle operators are exempt for the purposes of loading and unloading.

Any person found to be in violation of the Winter Parking Regulations will be liable to a penalty imposed under Section 292 of the Motor Vehicle Act.

The Winter Parking Regulations will be in effect from December 1, 2024 to April 15, 2025 on all streets and highways within the Town of Berwick.

During this period, parking of vehicles on the streets or highway within the Town of Berwick is prohibited between the hours of 1:00 AM and 7:00 AM and during the period from one hour after any snow storm has started to two hours after the storm has stopped.

Physicians, fire and police officials are exempt from these Regulations while carrying out their professional responsibilities; and commercial vehicle operators are exempt for the purposes of loading and unloading.
